Our verdict: CapCut
The essential video tool for starting without budget. If you had to install only one AI video tool on your computer or phone, it would be CapCut. Downside: owned by ByteDance (TikTok), businesses sensitive to data will prefer a European alternative. For pure AI video generation (without editing), Runway or Kling remain superior.
Our verdict: Captions
Captions is the ideal tool for consultants, coaches, and HR teams producing on-camera videos regularly. Multilingual dubbing with lip-sync is genuine differentiation. Less suited if you're looking to generate videos without humans on screen, CapCut or Runway will be more relevant then.
