Best for bars and restaurants in France who want a register certified by an accredited third party, guided installation, and a complete foodservice ecosystem from click-and-collect to purchasing. Outside France the certification argument falls away, and with it most of the case for the product. Not for you if you want to compare prices without a sales process, or if your technical team wants to develop its own connectors: APIs are not open to the public.

Best for cafes, bars, and restaurants in France who want a French iPad register certified under VAT anti-fraud law (NF525) and plugged into a rich accounting and operations ecosystem, without custom development. There is little reason to consider Popina from outside France. Not for you if you need an open API for in-house development, or if you refuse to go through a sales meeting to learn the price.
