Our verdict: Smartcat
Smartcat is ideal for SMBs with regular translation needs who want to combine AI and human translators without managing contractors outside the platform. Marketplace access is limited to Enterprise plans: if you need third-party translators from the start, negotiate an Enterprise plan or evaluate Phrase.
Our verdict: wxrks
wxrks is an excellent lesser-known alternative to Lokalise or Phrase for SMBs and translation agencies wanting power and reasonable pricing. The recent rebranding may raise questions about stability, but the product foundation is solid. Avoid if you're looking for a turnkey solution for a simple brochure site: Weglot will be faster.
