Adalo
Build and publish native mobile and web apps without code, with an integrated database
Overview
Adalo is one of the no-code mobile and web app pioneers: it offers an integrated Postgres database, drag-and-drop components and direct publication to the App Store and Google Play without writing code. Version 'Adalo 3.0' introduced an AI assistant (Ada, in beta) to accelerate screen building from a text description. The free plan remains useful for prototyping (500 records) but doesn't allow production app publishing.
The Starter plan ($36/month) unlocks publishing; the Professional plan ($52/month) adds unlimited collections and priority support. A public API (Collections and Notifications) is available starting from Team plans, with a 5-requests-per-second limit. Adalo is known for ease of use for a first MVP, but several Capterra reviews flag slow customer support, which can hurt during a production incident. No French interface is offered.
Our verdict
Best for entrepreneurs and freelancers wanting to publish a first simple mobile app without prior technical skills. Not for you if you anticipate strong growth or need responsive support: several users report long response times, and the lack of code export limits portability over the long term.
