AlphaSense

AI search engine across 500 million financial documents for investment professionals

Fintech & trading

Overview

AlphaSense is a market intelligence platform letting you query in natural language a corpus of 500 million+ financial documents: SEC filings and regulatory deposits, earnings call transcripts, broker research, specialized journals, expert calls, private company data and news in 37+ languages. Key features include Generative Search (synthesized answers with citations), Generative Grid (multi-question comparison tables), Deep Research (multi-step AI agent for sector analysis and company primers) and Workflow Agents (automating pitchbooks and pre-meeting briefs). By October 2025, AlphaSense exceeded $500M in annual recurring revenue with 6,500+ clients, 88% of the S&P 100 included.

AlphaSense is a global platform with offices in the UK, Finland, Germany and Singapore; European clients include UBS, Unilever and numerous financial institutions. Pricing is entirely on request: market estimates suggest ~$12,000-$18,000/year for core teams and up to $125,000/year for large institutions with API and expert calls. The API (GraphQL + REST, Python and Node.js SDKs) is reserved for Enterprise contracts. AlphaSense is not suited for individual investors or small portfolios; it is an institutional-only professional tool. English-only interface.

Our verdict

Recommended for institutional financial analysis teams, investment funds, strategy consultancies and large corporate departments who need to rapidly synthesize huge volumes of financial documentation. Not for individual or SME use: the entry price (~$12,000/year) and on-request model reserve it for professional organizations.
