Apify is a cloud web scraping and automation platform built around 'Actors': packaged automation scripts by Apify or its community, available in a marketplace of thousands of ready-to-use tools (Google Maps scraper, Instagram, Amazon, LinkedIn, e-commerce sites). More technical users can develop their own Actors in JavaScript/Python and deploy directly on Apify's cloud infrastructure, with proxy management, result storage and scheduling. The free plan includes $5 monthly usage credit; the Starter plan ($29/month) and Scale plan ($199/month) increase compute quotas and unlock dedicated datacenter proxies.

Apify is essentially English-focused and developer-oriented: pricing works in compute units (CUs) that can be hard to predict for non-technical people, and documentation, though very complete, is English-only.
