French AI plugin that removes silences and automates editing in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
Overview
AutoCut is a French plugin (founded under autocut.fr) for Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve that automatically detects and removes silences from a recording. Its full version adds ten AI functions: active speaker detection, auto captioning, face tracking, and since April 2026 integrated AI cleanup directly in the Premiere Pro workflow.
The Basic plan ($6.60/month annual) covers silence removal only; the full AI plan ($14.90/month annual) unlocks all ten functions; an Enterprise plan from 3 seats exists at $19.90 per seat per month. A free 14-day trial without a credit card is offered. AutoCut requires an existing Premiere Pro license (paid) or DaVinci Resolve (free version works) - it's not standalone editing software, and there's no API to automate it outside the plugin itself.

Best for editors and content creators already running Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve who want to cut rough editing time in half (podcasts, interviews, social videos). Avoid if you don't use either of those editing tools, or if you're after all-in-one editing.
