Overview

Botnation is a French drag-and-drop chatbot platform, no code, deployable on a website, WhatsApp or Messenger. It targets SMEs and agencies wanting to automate part of support or lead generation without developer teams. Bot creation is free and unlimited in test mode before publishing.

The tool offers conversation scenarios, live chat to take over manually, lead capture forms and conversation stats. Real use case: an e-commerce seller puts a WhatsApp bot that answers product questions and collects contact info for interested visitors to pass to sales.

Our verdict

A solid French alternative to US tools, with French support and easy onboarding. Less advanced than Chatbase on pure generative AI (RAG on large docs), but very effective for classic chatbot scenarios. A good fit for a French SME wanting local support.
