Climate FieldView, the digital brick of Bayer Crop Science, is now deployed across over 250 million acres in 23 countries. The app centralises farm data: planting, applications, yields, satellite imagery, letting farmers compare variety and plot performance, and generate variable-rate planting scripts directly compatible with John Deere or Case IH terminals.
The free Basic plan gives access to data archiving and basic yield analysis. The $649/year Plus plan unlocks FieldView Seed Scripts (variable-rate prescriptions), crop health satellite imagery and local support. The interface is one of the most accessible on the agtech market, designed for farmers without advanced digital training.
Our verdict
Excellent entry point for North American farmers wanting to start their digital transition without upfront cost. Less suited to European context and nearly absent in France: the interface is exclusively in English, machine integrations are geared to North American markets. Recommended for cooperatives with members in Canada or the US.
