CropIn

Intelligent agricultural cloud to digitise, trace and forecast across millions of hectares

Agriculture

Overview

CropIn (Bangalore, founded 2010) offers the world's first multi-tenant enterprise agricultural cloud: the Cropin Cloud platform combines field apps (Grow for plot management, Connect for farmer relations, Trace for traceability), a Data Hub aggregating satellite, IoT and weather, and an AI layer with 22 deep-learning models to forecast yields, climate risks and diseases. It operates in 103 countries across 30 million hectares.

CropIn targets large agribusiness, development cooperatives and governments managing hundreds of thousands of producers. The partnership announced with Wipro in 2025 accelerates supply-chain digitalisation. EUDR compliance (deforestation) is now integrated for soy, cocoa and palm oil chains. Access is exclusively enterprise with multi-year contracts.

Our verdict

Benchmark solution for large food companies' sustainability teams, international development cooperatives and governments managing millions of hectares. Completely unsuitable for an SME or local French cooperative under 10,000 members: deployment complexity and personalisation costs are prohibitive at small scale.
