Harness

Complete AI-driven DevOps platform with CI/CD, feature flags, chaos engineering, and infrastructure-as-code

Development & no-code

Overview

Harness is an all-in-one AI-driven DevOps platform automating software delivery: Continuous Delivery and GitOps (Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud deployments), Continuous Integration (build, test, scan), feature flag management and experimentation, chaos engineering (resilience testing), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible), and cloud cost management. It integrates with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Slack and supports all architectures (VMs, Kubernetes, serverless). The Free plan includes basics for small teams; Essentials and Enterprise are not publicly priced (contact sales). Governance and policies-as-code (OPA) are major strengths for enterprise compliance.

Harness is available entirely in English without officially documented localization. Documented REST and GraphQL APIs enable integration with other tools; authentication uses API keys. Native Slack and Jira integration is available. The Free plan is limited in features (500 users max, restricted history): beyond trivial use cases, Essentials/Enterprise pricing may be significant. Harness is highly valued for its richness (12+ independent modules) but this richness introduces complexity and requires DevOps expertise to use effectively.

Our verdict

Best for mid-market and enterprise companies (growing SMEs) seeking a unified DevOps platform with AI, advanced governance, and support for heterogeneous architectures. Avoid for small startups without complex needs: the Free tier may be too constrained and Essentials/Enterprise pricing risks being high without transparent quotes.
