Hiver

Omnichannel customer service grafted onto Gmail, with a free plan and unlimited users for teams who want to avoid ticketing complexity

Relation client & support

Overview

Hiver is a customer service platform that brings together email, chat, help center, Slack and voice in one workspace, originally built as a Gmail overlay. The grid displayed by the publisher, in annual billing, includes a Free plan at $0 with unlimited users covering shared inbox, ticketing, email, chat and help center channels and 24-hour support, then Growth at $25 per user per month with AI agents, copilot, knowledge base builder and rules-based automations, Pro at $55 with customer portal, SLAs, satisfaction surveys, advanced analytics and API access, finally Elite at $85 with skill-based routing, custom objects, SSO and custom roles. The voice module is an add-on, 2,000 monthly minutes included.

Hiver is available only in English: neither the site, app nor help center offer a French version, and the publisher does not document European hosting or specific GDPR guarantees on its public pages. The REST API exists but is open only from the Pro plan: it activates from developer settings in the admin panel, authenticates by key and remains capped at one request per second and five thousand calls per day, enough to sync a CRM but not to feed a data warehouse. Native connectors cover Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Shopify, Jira and Zapier. The limits mostly stem from the free plan being generous on seats but stopping short of automations and analytics, and the jump to Pro doubling the per-user cost.

Our verdict

Best for small teams already on Gmail who want to share an inbox and track requests without changing tools, the free plan accepting unlimited users. Not for you if you need a French interface or API access from the start: the API only arrives at the Pro plan, at $55 per user per month.
