Humata AI

Analysis of long and complex documents by AI, with source citation, for lawyers, researchers, and consultants

Customer relations & support

Overview

Humata AI lets you upload large documents (contracts, financial reports, studies) and get sourced answers with precise citation of the original passage, as well as summaries and cross-document search. The free plan covers 60 pages per month for one user. The Expert plan, at $9.99 per month, scales to 500 monthly pages for 3 users, with additional pages billed at $0.02 each beyond the quota. The Team plan, at $49 per user per month, covers 5,000 pages for 10 users, with additional pages at $0.01 each. An Enterprise plan on request adds dedicated support and availability guarantees.

Humata AI offers no French-language interface: the website and tool remain English-only. No GDPR compliance or European hosting is publicly documented, with the publisher highlighting 256-bit encryption and a private secure cloud with no further geographic specificity. An API is available for custom integrations, but Humata offers virtually no native connectors to other tools: SSO with Okta and Google is announced as forthcoming without a set date. Honest limitations: as soon as you exceed the included page quota, per-page billing ($0.01 to $0.02) can climb quickly for a team processing large files daily, and the lack of connectors limits integration into an existing workflow.

Our verdict

Best for lawyers, consultants, and researchers who periodically analyze long documents and want sourced answers with precise citation. Not suitable for intensive daily use with high page volume: per-page pricing beyond quota can represent a significant recurring cost.
