Kreo is a cloud-based construction takeoff and estimation software that works entirely in the browser. Surveyors and construction economists upload their plans, define or let AI detect scales, and produce accurate takeoffs without local installation. Plans range from $35/month (Lite, no AI) to $175/month (Pro, with all AI tools).
Kreo offers a complete API enabling project creation automation, file import, takeoff data extraction in JSON format, and ERP integration. The Enterprise version includes SAML/OIDC SSO for large organizations. The tool is popular among British quantity surveyors but beginning to expand across continental Europe.
Our verdict
Kreo offers the best value for construction economists and design firms wanting to move to the cloud without breaking the budget: the $175/month Pro plan remains reasonable against Togal.AI. However, the interface is in English with no confirmed French roadmap, limiting adoption among French-speaking building SMEs. The API is a genuine asset for organizations wanting to automate their production workflow.
