Kustomer

Customer experience platform built on a single timeline per customer rather than tickets, with integrated generative AI

Relation client & support

Overview

Kustomer is a customer experience platform that replaces ticket logic with a single timeline per customer, where orders, conversations and data from third-party systems converge, with a generative AI layer that suggests replies, detects intent and routes conversations. No pricing grid is published: the publisher explicitly writes that configurations differ too much across teams to display a single price, offers a two-minute ROI calculator, then directs you to a sales team to build a quote. Voice, SMS, transcription and WhatsApp channels are billed on usage, and HIPAA-compliant subscriptions plus onboarding services are sold separately. The real price thus depends on conversation volume and scope.

Kustomer's interface, documentation and developer portal are in English only, with no official French site, and the publisher does not highlight European hosting on its public pages. The technical side is however complete: documented REST APIs to connect internal systems, an application platform allowing you to build private or marketplace-published apps, and development kits for web and mobile chat. Usual connectors cover Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe and Shopify. The limits are structural for a French SMB: lack of public pricing forces a sales cycle before knowing if budget fits, onboarding requires customer data modeling work, and the tool only justifies itself at a volume and support headcount already substantial.

Our verdict

Best for businesses with a technical team who want support, sales and marketing to share a single living customer card, fed by APIs. Not for you if you are a microenterprise or SMB without a dedicated buyer: nothing is in French, no price is public and onboarding assumes a full integration project.
