Collaborative AI for lawyers: legal research by jurisdiction, bulk document review and assisted drafting, in Word and Outlook
Overview
Legora is an agentic AI platform designed for lawyers and legal departments: legal research accounting for applicable jurisdiction, bulk document review in comparative tables, assisted drafting and workflow execution via an agent studio. The publisher claims over 100,000 users across over 1,200 firms and legal departments, spanning over 50 markets, and over 375 employees. The product is used from a Word add-in, an Outlook add-in, a web editor, a mobile app and a portal. No price is published on the official site: there is neither pricing page nor displayed amount, entry is via commercial demo and price is set by quote based on structure size and scope.
Legora is a Swedish company whose technical team is Sweden-based and which highlights operation under GDPR, with ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications for AI governance, SOC 2 compliance, and options for data storage in Europe or the US. The publisher announced opening offices in Paris, Madrid and Milan in Q3 2026 and already has customers in France. The site and documentation remain English-only, with no French interface announced. Connections cover document management systems, particularly iManage via extended partnership, as well as SharePoint and MCP connectors; however, the publisher does not publicly document an open API for internal developments.
Our verdict
Best for structured law firms and legal departments wanting legal AI hostable in Europe, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certified, and integrated to iManage and Word. Not for a small firm: the model is quote-based and geared to team deployment, with no individual offer or public entry price.
