Maket

Generate custom architectural floor plans in seconds using generative AI

Architecture & intérieur

Overview

Maket is a Montreal startup nicknamed the "ChatGPT of architecture": the platform generates residential floor plans in seconds from text constraints (number of bedrooms, square footage, style), then lets you refine and convert them to interactive 3D models. The AI engine considers zoning constraints and programmatic needs to produce comparable variants. Plans are exportable as DXF or PDF for rework in AutoCAD or similar tools.

The free plan includes 50 credits/month (20 per plan, 10 per render) and one active project. The Plus plan ($20/month) moves to 300 credits/month, unlimited projects, multi-floor generation (up to 4 levels), and high-resolution export. Additional credit packs start at $10. Maket is undergoing major overhaul (v2 planned Q1 2026 with zoning code verification and metric calculation). No public API, English interface only.

Our verdict

Best for architects and real estate developers needing to generate many residential floor plan variants quickly for programming phases or client options. Not for you if you have complex non-residential projects, need a BIM tool, or require an API: Maket produces conceptual plans, not buildable models.
