MeetGeek

Multilingual AI meeting assistant with choice of EU or US data hosting and recording with or without visible bot

Transcription & meetings

Overview

MeetGeek automatically records, transcribes and summarizes Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams meetings, with identification of recurring topics and speaking-time analytics. The free Basic plan includes 3 hours of transcription per month, enough to test the tool. The Pro plan starts at $9.99 per user per month billed annually ($15.99 per month when billed monthly) for 20 hours of monthly transcription, and the Business plan at $17 ($27 when billed monthly) unlocks unlimited transcription. An Enterprise plan on request adds advanced security controls and dedicated support.

MeetGeek claims recognition of over 100 languages with automatic detection, and its site is available in French, Portuguese, Spanish and German in addition to English, making it an accessible option for a French-speaking SME. The editor offers a choice of data residency between the European Union and the United States, with SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and CCPA certifications, and a stated policy of non-use of customer data for model training. Recording can be done via a visible bot in the participant list or without a bot, via Chrome extension or desktop application. An API and MCP access are included from the free plan onwards, but the limited transcription hours of the Basic plan quickly require switching to a paid plan.

Our verdict

Best for French-speaking SMEs who want a notetaker with a French-translated site, with choice of hosting between the EU and United States. Not for you if your meetings regularly exceed 20 hours per month: you would then need to upgrade to the Business plan at $17 per user to remove the transcription limit.
