OpenHands

OpenHands (formerly OpenDevin) is an open-source platform that runs AI agents capable of writing code, executing commands and opening pull requests autonomously, via a web interface, terminal, CLI and SDK. The Open Source version, free, installs and runs locally, with unlimited access and no model provider restriction. The Individual cloud offer is also free to access: the user brings their own model API key (BYOK) or pays on usage via OpenHands's integrated provider, no fixed subscription, within the limit of ten concurrent conversations per day. The Enterprise offer, as SaaS or self-hosted in the customer's VPC, is billed on request and lifts conversation and user limits.

OpenHands offers no French interface: the website and documentation are English-only. The project does not publish a specific GDPR commitment for the shared cloud offer, but the Enterprise offer allows self-hosted deployment in the customer's infrastructure, which allows keeping data in Europe if needed. The platform integrates with GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket for code, Jira and Slack for task tracking, and has an agent cloud SDK and MCP support to connect other tools. The main limit is the absence of fixed pricing for individual usage: without a subscription, cost depends entirely on tokens consumed by agents, which requires close monitoring on long or complex tasks.
