Parabola

Visual workshop to clean, reconcile and cross-reference data from files, emails and PDFs, billed per execution credit

Automatisation

Overview

Parabola is not an app connector like Zapier but a visual data transformation workshop: import rows from a spreadsheet, email, SFTP, database or PDF, clean, reconcile and cross-reference them in a canvas of steps, then return the result to the business tool. The publisher has reoriented toward AI agents described in natural language, capable of digitizing documents, matching orders to stock or generating recurring reports. Billing is per credit, consumed when an agent runs, not during flow building. The Basic plan is free for life with 1 user, 1,000 credits and limited AI access, then extra credits are bought on usage. Business plans, which include support from Parabola engineers, are on request only.

Parabola is English-only, with no French interface or docs. The publisher displays SOC 2 Type II compliance and provides a data protection agreement covering GDPR, with encryption in transit and at rest, but notes servers are AWS-hosted in the United States: no EU residency option exists. Import and send bricks via HTTP API, plus webhook triggers, allow connecting a flow to a third system. Limits are real: no public pricing beyond the free plan makes budgeting impossible without a sales call, the credit model stays opaque until you measure production flow consumption, and the tool demands real spreadsheet logic thinking, closer to analyst work than mainstream automation.

Our verdict

Best for operations, logistics or finance teams processing heterogeneous files each week who want to automate cleaning and reconciliation without writing SQL. Avoid if you want to simply connect two apps or need public pricing: beyond the free plan, everything goes through sales.
