Pipedream

Automate technical workflows by combining code and no-code connectors.

Automatisation

Overview

Pipedream targets developers and technical profiles who want to automate workflows mixing ready-made connectors and custom Node.js/Python code. Each workflow step can be a visual component or code block - flexibility no pure no-code tool offers.

The free plan covers 100 credits/month and 3 active workflows, enough to experiment. Basic at $29/month moves to 2,000 credits and 10 workflows. Advanced at $49/month removes workflow limits. Pipedream excels for complex API integrations, webhook event handling, and real-time data processing.

Our verdict

Reserved for technical profiles - developers, ops, or growth hackers comfortable with code. Not suitable for business teams without IT support. If you have these skills, Pipedream offers unmatched flexibility at reasonable cost. For pure no-code, prefer Make or Activepieces.

What drives the bill up

Pipedream charges not by executions but by compute credit: one credit equals roughly 30 seconds of execution with 256 MB memory; consumption rises if you allocate more. A 20-step workflow running in five seconds costs less than a 2-step workflow waiting on slow API. Overage rate is unpublished: ask before building high-volume use cases.
