Scholarcy

Transform any academic paper into structured flashcards and intelligent summaries in seconds

Recherche académique & science

Overview

Scholarcy analyzes academic papers, reports, and books (PDF, Word, URL) to automatically extract key points as structured flashcards: context, hypotheses, methodology, results, limitations. Tables, figures, and references are extracted separately, and summaries can be exported to reference managers.

The free plan is limited to 10 summaries. The paid plan at $9.99/month (or $90/year with 25% discount) gives unlimited summaries, organized collections, and bulk export of up to 100 flashcards at once. Institutional licenses start at $8,000/year. Interface is in English. A one-week free trial is available.

Our verdict

Best for PhD students and researchers who need to quickly sort through and prioritize large stacks of papers. Not for you if you read fewer than 10 papers per month (the free plan suffices) or if you need deep analysis: a real critical summary is not a substitute for reading the full paper.
