Shipwell

US-based cloud TMS for shippers, brokers, and logistics providers, with load optimization, real-time visibility, and automated settlement

Logistique & supply chain

Overview

Shipwell is a cloud transportation management system (TMS) for shippers, freight brokers, and logistics service providers. The platform covers quoting, RFQ automation, load optimization, freight management, real-time shipment tracking, dock appointment scheduling, and carrier invoice settlement. The editor has added an AI layer with automated shipment tracking, an in-app assistant, and an MCP server allowing external agents to talk to the platform. Shipwell was rated Visionary in Gartner's 2026 Magic Quadrant for TMS. No pricing is published: the dedicated page only offers a demo request and pricing is set on request.

Shipwell is an English-only product: neither the site, interface, nor documentation are offered in French, and the editor does not communicate EU data residency or a specific GDPR commitment. Connectivity, however, is an assumed strength, with a real-time API documented on docs.shipwell.com, EDI support, a "Built for NetSuite" certified SuiteApp, and integrations to SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, and TriumphPay on the financial side. The major limitation for a French company is geographic: the carrier network, supported transport modes, and compliance functions are designed for the North American market. Add the complete absence of any indicative pricing before a commercial contact.

Our verdict

Best for organizations operating freight flows in North America who want a modern TMS with an open API and native certified NetSuite integration. Not for you if your flows are European or if your team does not work in English: the carrier network, regulatory functions, and interface are calibrated to the US, and no pricing is shared before a quote.
