Sortly

Visual mobile inventory for tracking equipment, consumables, and supplies by photo, barcode, and QR code, job site by job site

Overview

Sortly is a visual inventory tool for tracking equipment, consumables, and supplies rather than online sales. You organize items in nested folders with photos, custom fields, quantities, low-threshold alerts, and movement history; the mobile app serves as a barcode and QR code scanner, and the tool generates its own custom labels. Pricing is in dollars. A free plan covers 100 unique items, 1 user, and 2 job sites. Paid plans show $49/month for Advanced (500 items, 2 licenses, 5 sites), $149/month for Ultra (2,000 items, 5 licenses), and $299/month for Premium (5,000 items, 8 licenses), with a 50% first-year discount reducing these to 24, 74 and $149/month. An Enterprise plan is offered on request.

The interface is in English and the editor offers no French version, manageable on such a visual tool but requires some English for setup and support. Native integrations are deliberately limited: QuickBooks Online for accounting, Slack and Microsoft Teams for alerts, complemented by an API and webhooks for the rest of your stack. There is no Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Amazon, or Cdiscount connector: Sortly is not designed to sync e-commerce inventory and will not replace commercial management software. Multi-location is handled through folders and job sites rather than formal warehouses. The real constraint is the item counter, just 500 on Advanced, quickly hit once you catalog spare parts, with a small number of included licenses relative to the price.

Our verdict

Best for tradespeople, construction, and service companies needing to know where their equipment is and track consumables, with photo entry and scanning from phone. Not for you if you must sync sales inventory with Shopify, PrestaShop, or a marketplace: Sortly has no e-commerce connectors.
