Sudowrite

Sudowrite is a writing assistant specifically designed for fiction: it generates scene continuations, develops sensory descriptions, proposes plot twists, and maintains a narrative bible (characters, places, chronology) to maintain the coherence of a long novel. The Hobby & Student plan ($10/month, 225,000 credits) targets occasional writing; Professional ($22/month, 1 million credits) is calibrated for a complete novel and includes critical feedback on the text; Max ($44/month, 2 million credits, rollable over 12 months) targets authors publishing multiple books per year. An Enterprise plan is negotiated on request, and annual discounts of up to 50% exist.

Sudowrite indicates it can write in most languages and adapt its suggestions to the language of the text provided, which includes French in practice, even though the site and tool interface remain solely in English, without official French translation. The Chrome extension allows working directly in Google Docs. Sudowrite does not document any public API for developers at this time: the only official extensions cover Google Docs and Chrome. The credits-based model can quickly become constraining on a long novel if you multiply scene regenerations, and nothing guarantees the literary quality of a text generated in French, neither tested nor highlighted by the publisher.
