Zoho Desk
Ticketing software in French, billed in euros, for SMBs who want structured support without paying enterprise-suite prices
Overview
Zoho Desk is a ticketing software that centralizes requests received via email, web form, phone, chat and social media, with customer portal, multilingual knowledge base, escalation rules and automations. The French-language pricing page from the publisher displays a grid in euros: free plan forever limited to three user licenses and email ticketing, Express at €7 per user per month, Standard at €14, Professional at €23 and Enterprise at €40, amounts in annual billing with up to 34% savings versus monthly. Read-only agents, called light users, are billed separately on Professional and Enterprise plans, with the Enterprise edition including fifty for free. The AI assistant Zia, telephony and advanced dashboards appear on higher tiers. Fifteen days of trial are offered without a credit card.
Zoho publishes a site and interface in French: the product page and pricing grid exist at zoho.com/fr/desk, and the app switches to French from preferences. On hosting, the publisher documents European data centers in Amsterdam and Dublin, associated with the zoho.eu domain, and highlights ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications plus a dedicated GDPR readiness page; data center choice is made at account creation, with later migration to be requested from support. REST API and webhooks are documented, and native connectors cover Zoho CRM, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira and Google Workspace. The real limits are there: the interface remains dense and administration takes time, the free tier for three agents fills quickly, and part of the value only shows up when staying in the Zoho ecosystem.
Our verdict
Best for European SMBs who want customer support in French, billed in euros, with the option to host data in a European data center and an entry price of €7 per agent. Not for you if you want immediate ease of use: the interface is loaded and initial setup of queues, rules and automations takes several days.
