Our verdict: Greenhouse
Greenhouse is the choice for operational recruiting excellence: if you want repeatable processes, minimal bias, and reliable funnel data, it's the reference. However, it's a complex, costly solution, entirely in English, and designed for HR teams of 3+ people. For a French-speaking SME under 100 employees, the cost/benefit ratio is unfavorable.
Our verdict: Lever
Lever is excellent for mid-market HR teams that want true relationship management with candidates, not just pipeline tracking. The interface is in English and pricing can be opaque for French SMEs. Prefer Recruitee or Flatchr if you don't have a dedicated TA (Talent Acquisition) function. Lever becomes essential in organizations recruiting continuously for hard-to-fill roles.
