Our verdict: Paperpal
Best for non-native English researchers submitting papers to international journals who want to improve their academic English and reduce back-and-forth with editors. Not for you if you write primarily in French: this tool is not designed for francophone publications.
Our verdict: SciSpace
Best for master's and PhD students and researchers reading many English-language papers who want to understand them quickly or format them for submission. Not for you if you need large-scale structured data extraction: Elicit is superior for systematic reviews.
