Leapsome
European modular HR platform combining HRIS, feedback cycles, goals, surveys, learning and compensation on a unified data layer
Overview
Leapsome is a German HR platform built as modules you activate a la carte: HRIS (employee data, absences, documents and signatures, payroll prep), Reviews for feedback cycles, Surveys for engagement surveys, Goals for OKRs, Learning for internal training, Compensation for salary reviews, Time Tracking for hour tracking, and recently a Recruiting module in early access. AI agents, automated workflows, cross-module analytics and professional alerting in line with EU directive are included in the core. The editor publishes no per-user pricing: the pricing page consistently directs to a custom quote, with announced discounts based on module count and user volume, and a one-year minimum contract.
It is one of the rare players in this category to take a genuinely European stance on commitments: interface available in 38 languages including French, hosted in Germany, ISO 27001 certified, documented GDPR compliance and stated positioning on EU AI Act conformity. An API and connectors to common HRIS and collaboration tools enable headcount sync without double entry. The limits mostly come down to pricing opacity: impossible to budget without contacting sales, and the editor notes on its pricing page that dedicated Customer Success support is only for contracts of at least EUR 6,000/year. The modular richness also assumes real configuration work before deployment.
Our verdict
Best for French SMEs wanting a complete HR platform in French, hosted in Europe and ISO 27001 certified, rather than a US solution. Not for you if you need a hard budget figure upfront or a deployment in days: everything goes through a sales quote and dedicated support only opens above EUR 6,000/year.
