Our verdict: Planity
Best for hair salons, barbershops and beauty institutes in France who want online scheduling, checkout certified under French VAT anti-fraud law (NF525) and marketplace visibility without paying per appointment: the bill is a subscription and nothing else. Not for you if you operate outside France, where neither the certification nor the marketplace applies, if you want to compare prices before talking to sales, or if you need an open API for your own system: Planity publishes neither pricing tiers nor technical documentation.
Our verdict: Treatwell Pro
Best for salons and institutes short on visibility and willing to pay 25% on a new customer from the marketplace in exchange for software with no visible subscription. Avoid if your calendar is already full with loyal clients: the new-customer commission becomes an unnecessary acquisition cost, and lack of a public pricing table complicates comparison.
